If General Hospital needed to let any characters go to add others, they could have taken off BORING LOIS and AVA WHO HAS COMMITTED SO MANY CRIMES & DONE SO MANY DESPICABLE THINGS or they simply did not bring characters back. Sam needs to stay on GH.

DeleteI enjoyed Dante and Tracy's conversation but the "I know you have no use for me and I am not itching to be your best friend".....how about the fact that Tracey is Dante's step grandmother.....or did the writers forget that Tracey's son is Dante's step father. The whole your son is married to my mother and you are my half brother's adoptive grandmother seems like a reason to have a relationship.

Although they were brutally honest in their personal attacks on each other's past... it was actually realistic. Unfortunately anger is a part of grief (even if it somewhat misplaced)
It was nice to see Dante and Tracy in a scene together.
Plus having that scene inside the chapel was fitting imo...
Trying to remold Nikolas as some tragic figure now, whatever, they had this guy doing some pretty terrible stuff, including to his own children, that's why he's in prison. If they have too many characters on the canvas right now, we can definitely do without this Nikolas, he was just never written well with this recast, and I don't think anyone but Tyler Christopher could ever really play this role. :(

Hahaha, today brought up old memories of both Dante and Lulu, and they both lost some of their fire with time. I remember how RELENTLESSLY Dante had to pursue Lulu, she would just not have ANY of that for the longest time, it was funny to watch. :) She gave him such a hard time, and he was all patience. That whole PTSD story, and then Val, was just so lame and out-of-character for him, a real misfire. :( They had such a great relationship.
WHY is Portia in that patient's room. SO unprofessional, yet again, just leave Heather to other staff, and get away from her. NO doctor should be intimidating patients. Do no harm. And if you can't, then go do your chief of staff job, for crying out loud, anyone who works there can draw blood, go run the hospital. Why have they made Portia so unlikeable, she's a long ways from the helping Epiphany study for the MCAT days...
Actually enjoyed Alexis and Ric going after each other again, lol, those two are great at pointing out each other's flaws. :) And this Molly is definitely the best of all the recasts, I'm starting to like her again. I hope she doesn't just forgive and forget though. Good to see Carly and Ric still hating each other virulently, and now he's representing Heather, really, right back on the naughty list for me, Ric!
To be fair, prior to 2012, Nikolas was a much nicer guy. Starting in 2012 to up until recently his character did a 180 and was unrecognizable to the once shy and awkward kid he started out as. I hated the 2012 post change to Nikolas and would love to see him return to his nicer roots again.

alexis and ric throw insults at one another that was truly fun to watch alexis came alive in that scene she plays off well with that actor that hate hate came off man
but isnt that who portia is she did help steal ryan kidney and woke up a coma patient so not shocked if she falsify heather blood test

DeleteOh Alexis come on, Kristina is an entitled child & who did that? I've come to like Molly so much more than Kristina. Lucky back as the great militant, please. Of course it won't be NikaIos, has to be Lucky now. Think Rick might be fun to watch with Heather. Portia's going to pull something with the bloodwork. Tracy speaks the facts & always has. Dante, you did what you did, you can't change it. With Sam leaving soon its going to be interesting. Does that mean Jasons in for some full-time fathering?

What are they doing with Sam’s character? And what is Portia gonna do with that blood?
ReplyDeleteDex and Jossilyn's quaint little dinner at the MC was cool. Having him be the voice of reason with Molly was good to see.
ReplyDeleteShe needed to hear a different perspective from someone who could relate... and that would relay honesty in a gentle way.
After all, Dex witnessed her emotional outburst first-hand when he served as her witness at the PCPD... at Ava's cell.
Of course Nicholas wasn't going to be a match... We know... We know...
C'mon Lucky hurry back to PC to save the day.
Granted, it's good that Jonathan Jackson the original lucky is back BUT I just wished that the original Lulu (J Bierman) would come back too.
This recast had BETTER be worth it!
I'm so glad that Ric is back.
I like how he doesn't allow Carly to "boss" him around inspite of their tumultuous past.
I'm glad that Heather is back.
