Screenshots are made in Google Chrome on a laptop. But in all computer browsers, the settings are similar.
-Open the settings menu by clicking the settings button in the upper-right corner under the browser close button. In the middle of the drop-down list is the word Zoom. Press the + button 9 times to zoom in to the maximum value of 500 (you can quickly press the left mouse button until the number 500 appears).
-After that, you need to press the button to switch to full-screen browser mode (it is located to the right of the browser zoom value). Or press F11
-Move the scroll bars so that there is no white background at the bottom and left. If the video doesn't fit all on the screen (you can't see everything on the top and right), then press ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel to zoom out to 400%.
-To exit full-screen mode, move the cursor to the top edge and click the close button that appears (or press F11).
-Reduce the browser scale to 100% or to a value that is convenient for you.
-You can zoom in not at the beginning, but after switching to full-screen mode. While scrolling the mouse wheel, the ctrl key must be pressed.
On smartphones and tablets, swipe down from the top of the screen and turn the screen rotation on in the notification bar that appears. After that, you need to turn the device to a horizontal position and expand the screen with your fingers in the video location area. At the same time, you do not need to turn on full-screen mode in the built-in player. If the screen goes dark during viewing, then disable screen lock in the settings for the time of viewing. If the screen lock cannot be disabled, then select the maximum time until the screen is disabled.

DeleteOn the page "episodes 2012-2021" there is a link to another blog with old episodes. There's another player there. And on this blog for about three months now, a playback error message appears in the player, but not for everyone.
DeleteWhy did you remove all of 2019? Some of us were still trying to catch up. I'm still in the beginning of July 2019. Been a fan since the 80's.

DeleteHi Bob, Would you consider opening up a telegram group? I believe all the episodes can be posted there and its way less likely the powers that be will remove them. They could serve as a backup for this site. The only issue is I think they would need to be downloaded before playing them.

I've only found one that will recognize videos since Bob changed how he does the blog ones and that is on Dailymotion (and it takes several steps). Then I'm watching on a little iPod so the screen is super tiny since he started adding all the background filler.
DeleteI am having issues accessing the September episodes. I watched through 9/8 last night but today I cannot get any of the videos to work today, even ones that I just watched last night. How do I fix this? I have tried on my android phone and them moved to my laptop and neither is working...
ReplyDeleteHi all, first off, I just want to say how thankful I am to this site. I got seriously behind on GH. When we shut down in March I very quickly got caught up from Nov 2017 up to Aug 2020. Xmas break just happened and was off for hte couple of weeks but am back to working from home and usually have this playing in the background. I used to play it on my iPad or iPhone stream it to my TV via chromecast. I used to do chrome but the 2020 episodes wouldn't play like that but safari worked fine. Now I can't do either from my iPad or phone. It says playback n/a. I can stream from my laptop which is great, but as soon as I remote in to work the network kicks me off.....so my question is, how do I get it to stream again from my phone? I'm doing it from chrome on my laptop but it doesn't work on my phone/ipad. I thought "Chrome was chrome" regardless of where you played it from. Any help would be appreciated!
ReplyDeleteMost likely, the browsers on the TV and on the iPad with the phone are outdated. I do not know how to update the browser on the TV with smart TV. And on your iPad and phone, you can download Google Chrome for free and run the downloaded file. Then you need to agree to replace with the new version, if Google Chrome is already installed. And on laptops, browsers are updated automatically.

ReplyDeleteSo I am in Canada and got super behind....like last March behind...the last March that works is the 26th. The next one is April 22...and then more that say "content rejected. Video has been removed..."
Any way to get the missing ones???
There are two videos with different players on the pages. The lower videos are removed, and the upper ones work. What do you see instead of the top videos? Which browser do you use?

Deleted videos have been replaced. But all episodes of 2021 can now also be viewed on another blog with old episodes. The link to it is on the page "episodes 2012-2021".

DeleteNot sure if you're aware, but I'm coming across a LOT of videos on the episodes 2012-2021 page that are either missing, won't load properly, or have a message that the video has been removed. In both 2020 (where I'm currently viewing them) & 2021 (where I'm currently recording to DVD from my own DVR). I also have many episodes over the last 3-4 years that I would be willing to share, if you need them.
Not sure it possible, Jimmy, but if I come across deleted videos on here, is there a way you could share yours with me? I hate to miss even an episode of GH.

Hi Bob, I love what you have done for us GH fans! I am currently in middle of May 2022 and the rest of the month and almost the entire June seems to have been removed. Is there any way to restore them or were they moved to another page? When there have been a few random missing episodes I find a text recap, but I'd really love to watch it. Thanks in advance for anything you can do or direction you can offer.
