DeleteAm I the only one that felt uncomfortable with Sam & Danta moving in together into Jason Morgan's Penthouse? Seems so wrong. I miss Jason Morgan, Morgan, Corinthos, Alan & Emily Quartermaine,, Rick & Lesley Webber and more of Laura. I also miss Lucky, the old Nicklas and "Grams" Audrie Hardy and Lyla Quartermain.. I miss a lot of characters from the past that kept GH more Familt oriented. You know back when there was actually a point to their storylines.
ReplyDeleteI don't really have a problem with it at face value. She and Jason weren't together when he died and Sam probably lived in that penthouse more time without him than with him. But one thing I DON'T get is that Sam didn't want to live in Dante's house because it had been Lulu's home but doesn't think twice about expecting Dante' and Rocco to live in a home she had shared with Jason. I also don't understand why parents would choose to raise their kids in a penthouse when they could raise them in a neighborhood and a house with a yard. Even if the penthouse is across the street from a park.

I don't know why they just didn't get a new place altogether. I think Sam has tons of money. And that way, they would make their own memories.
DeleteAlthough I question it too, my one thought is that Lulu is alive and Jason is supposedly dead. Also I believe Sam has been in that penthouse through multiple relationships, including the previous incarnation of Finn (Silas Clay).
DeleteI think with Lulu being alive, it's understandable that she worries about taking Lulu's place in Rocco's house. She doesn't want to be in a position of feeling like "the replacement." Plus if Lulu gets well, she would have another woman in her house with her kid -- which, it would be reasonable to think, would be an uncomfortable position for Sam.
Jason was gone for the early years of Sam's kids lives. When he returned from the "dead," he wasn't even really there for very long, relatively speaking. Her kids have probably not had him around for more years than they have had him around.
Sam is disgusting...she went with the father and now she is going with the son...she also went with the uncle. I would have rather seen the Felicia is Esme's mother storyline play out rather than the Mac and Cody storyline. I guess they took Felicia's story away after her son died in real life. Maybe they thought it was too much work on her. But that would have been a more interesting storyline.

DeleteOlivia and Ned will likely go the distance. I think they are setting Olivia up as a "Lila" matriarch.
DeleteBut they're not a supercouple.
I also think it's possible they are planning to position Jocelyn and Cam as a kind of next-generation Liz and Lucky. They'll get broken up along the way, but eventually they'll find their way back.
Another possibility is that they aim to do the triangle thing a la the Jax-Sonny tug-of-war over Carly (and Brenda before that) -- with Cam as the more-law-abiding Jax type, Dex as the Sonny bad-boy type, and Jocelyn as the Carly type.
Those are just my speculations.
But who knows if the actor who plays Cam will stick around. He's very good in my opinion and he has his singing. We may lose him on GH.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if there's any chance Lulu, Emme Rylan or whom ever (insert actress), might be about to make a miraculous recovery from her coma? Sam and Dante's blissful little love nest scenario seems a little tgtbt. Trouble has to be on the horizon.

DeleteI hope it's someone else too. Lulu2 was very bad casting for that role and lacked the chemistry that Original Lulu had with both Dante AND Maxie.
DeleteEmme always seemed like she was acting. Nothing felt genuine or natural.
On the other hand, if they bring Emma back to the canvas, then I sure hope it's the same actress and not a new one!
DeleteEmma should only be about 16 and in high school. But Anna and Robert said she was in college, and that worries me. They might be SORASing Emma to 18, so she can join the Cam-Spencer-Jocelyn circle of friends. When they were all kids (before those 3 were SORASed into teens), Cam and Spencer used to have big crushes on Emma, which caused some rivalry between them and ruffled Jocelyn's feathers.
If the writers do suddenly have Emma go to Port Chuck University with the others, it'll be interesting to see what sort of dynamic they are looking to set up. Maybe the intent is that when Dex breaks up Jocelyn and Cam, Emma will be around.
But I would hate if they brought in a new actress. We got to watch Robin grow up on this show and I really like this Emma a lot.
They would have to cast a new Emma...the girl who played her is too young. I don't think she is even 16 yet...they can recast...they did a great job recasting spencer

But on another note, Lucy sure has aged well. Great body.
