@Janis Remember I told you Chad was missing time due to Covid, he just confirmed it is because of Covid and he developed acute myocarditis which is an effect of taking the vaccine as many who've taken it have reported to the Vars system. ReplyDeleteSome people have had problems with the vaccine (I think a lot depends on which one you receive), but they are few and far between compared to the many millions of people who have had the vaccine and not had the least bit of problem - myself included. In fact, I've had both first shots and the two boosters - and I'm planning on getting this new vaccine that is specific to the omnicron variant. I just have to wait a few months because I didn't get my second booster until around the end of June. And the only reaction I've had was a slightly sore arm with one of the first shots. I've had more of a reaction from a tetanus shot. I'm also not saying you still can't get covid, but if you've been vaccinated, if you DO get it, your chances of dying or ending up on a ventilator are far less. Why do you think the death rate has dropped so significantly? Could it be because some of us are smart enough to believe science not some random anecdotal stories on the internet? And we prefer to take our chances with the vaccine than the disease itself? And FYI - I'll also be getting my annual flu shot next month. Same thing - no guarantee that I won't get the flu, but if I do, the symptoms should be milder and there will be less chance of my dying from it.

DeleteAbsolutely, I've had the shot and 2 boosters. Shortly after having a kidney removed, I contracted covid. Much more pain in my incisions and fatigue. But better than the alternative!

DeleteWay to go Janis! I also have had all the boosters and vaccines and have not gotten Covid yet. My husband had both vaccines and both boosters and got very mild Covid last week, I’m sure it would’ve been much worse without the vaccines. We both plan to get the new vaccine soon

You guys already said it yourself, you've had the first two mandatory shots and you all I'm sure caught Covid then. Befor the boosters. And you were all fine. Didn't fall deathly ill so why bother getting a booster shot just because the government makes them available. When it does not up your chances at not getting Covid. It's still the same as it was after the mandatory was over.
First you could die you can spread it it's air born it lives on contact it doesn't survive that way. Then it's oh get the shot if you do you can't catch it and you can't pass it to the next person. Unless they don't have a shot. Then it was omg we were totally wrong and had no idea what we were talking about. Now you can get it even with the shot. So now oh no big deal. Just come get TWO shots. Then you'll be safe and you'll be keeping all of your family and population safe. Then it was oh actually that wasn't true at all either. We didn't know what we were talking about. We still don't. Everyone stay inside lock your doors it's sweeping the nation wide. Ohhh now you can eat out but you can still get Covid and die so you have to wear a mask st all times.
