These soaps are truly too silly at times. Everyone knows Curtis. Chase didn't need Sonny or Ms. Wu putting a word in for him to get a gig. I mean... Chase could have walked up to Curtis and asked, or Brook-Lynn for that matter since she's his manager. If a recommendation was truly needed they could have gone to Finn who is clearly friends with Curtis.There's no reason to dedicate so many scenes showing Chase getting a gig at the Savoy. GH needs to step up its game at times.
ReplyDeleteLOL, I was thinking the same thing. :) Curtis is a nice guy, friends with everyone, they didn't need to invoke the mob to help them out with a music gig... It's like how they're dedicating so many scenes to Stella's flashbacks about the divorce papers, who really cares, just file them again and be done with it! She was in the midst of having a stroke anyway, no one should have too much drama over that. Don't know why they're making it seem like a big deal. Just like they overdramatized the Marshall storyline, that could have been way more succinct, and it would have been better that way. It feels like they're dragging out storylines needlessly, when there could be so much cool stuff happening!

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind that! They were exciting villainesses. Love to hate them. Loved both of their torturing dream cameos. Ava could get there again too; I keep hoping they'll turn her into the next Helena Cassadine. They seem to be wishy-washying her and Nina, they used to be such legitimately menacing characters. It seems like they're going to let the Felicia/Esme story go by the wayside...kind of sad to see her go. Esme was a supervillainess in the making, for sure.

DeleteAgreed ! Loved belle and Esme (at times) and I've never seen Ava in her krazy bad ass days but would love to see it. I love Ava. And Nina. Anyone who has had a struggle and is as equally good bad & crazy but. It on a high horse like Carly or joss. Vomit.

I haven't googled if she has left the show for good or not ... I like to guess and predict the show and be in suspense on what's gonna happen

so sonny is not ok with nicholas hurting avery by hurting ava, but he is ok with nina hurting his entire family including him, i just cannot take this man seriously anymore, sonny is a joke and bad joke at that
@General Fanatic He moved past it there's a difference. If Carly, Michael, and Joss want to be sanctimonious and hold grudges thats on them. Sonny's biological kids have moved past it and are more mature than Michael, Carly, and Joss who are acting like brats and neither of them have room to judge based on their past and current actions.

as for josslyn and michael they had a first hand account of the trauma and grief that avery, wiley and donna went through, josslyn was there when her sisters were crying becasue they missed their father grandfather, she consoled them so she is not ok with sonny being with the woman who inflicted that pain on them, she is being a protective big sister as is her right, josslyn father jax was shot becasue he was trying to save nina while trying to hide sonny from him, nina pretended to be josslyn friend even gave her a graduation gift all the wild lying to her face
as for michael his revenge is more about sonny betrayal of everything he taught michael, if nina wanted michael on her side she should have called him when she found sonny, nina when she returned from her
nixon falls purest love nightmare could have left michael and willow alone when she came back she should not have taken them to court, michael and willow regarding nina has been nothing but generous as oppose to nina who has and continue to disrespect these two as parents and as individuals
if this was just about revenge on two people not telling nina about nelle far the the cliff fall based on a necklace why is her obsession soley on carly where is jax destruction, carly and jax told sonny about nelle falling off that cliff and he adviced them to keep quiet where is sonny retribution from nina
nina is obsessed with carly when she lets it go so will carly michael and josslyn

ReplyDeleteSomething I don't get. And that is why Ava is so willing to be buddy-buddy with the woman who broke up her daughter's stable home with Carly and Sonny. I get that she and Carly hate each other, but they always managed to come together for Avery's sake. And Carly was good to her and she loves Carly. She also had a little sister and an older sister in Josslyn. I would think that Ava would have wanted to support that. And, hoo boy, if Nina gets her claws into Avery, Ava may find herself being the odd parent out. Remember how possessive she got with Charlotte? And then Wiley?

DeleteAnd Nina kidnapped Avery when she was born, after forcing Ava to give birth! The Nina/Ava friendship is really weird, on so many levels. Or I've just been watching the show too long. :) I think Ava just desperately needs a girlfriend, and Nina is in the same boat.
