DeleteOk. I was thinking she got hooked on her right side and the hook came from behind her and around to the front. I might have to go back and rewatch that. I tend to multitask while it's on and am not always paying very close attention to what's going on.

ReplyDeleteA couple of days ago, someone said that hook was a fishing hook and I disagreed and said it was a hay hook. I thought Ava's attacker grabbed it from the Quartermain stable, and as someone who has moved many bales of hay, I made the leap that it had to be a hay hook. But according to Dante's description of it, it is some kind of hook used in fishing to help land big fish (or something) and has a barb on the end (hay hooks do not). When I typically think of fishing hooks, I think of the little ones at the end of the fishing line that fits into a fish's mouth. So, apparently I was wrong. I don't remember who I responded to when I said it was a hay hook, but whoever it was, if you see this, my apologies. 😳
