when I was in nursing school about 10 years ago, I had to do a research paper on this topic.. I was completely shocked because I was unaware blacks do get sentenced longer for the same crime committed by whites.. there is tons of research, periodicals and peer studies on this topic. I was tempted to say why is GH doing this storyline but then I guess to educate people on the topic, like I had to be..

yay finally some Nina&Mike/Sonny supporters :) I get how it is wrong that she lets his children think he is dead and I do wish that he is going to come back, but I want him to come back as a changed man, as the man he is now. And that his children can live their life without having to worry about all this mob drama some day.
I'm actually guessing that Carly is going to be a big fan of Britt. Britt grew up with Faison and up to this point has been viewed as the villain so she's used to uncomfortable realities. She doesn't have kids so she doesn't have to worry about that, and she can pretty much do what she wants. I'm guessing she's gong to lose the Chief of Staff position and might even do something else.
Nina's justifications don't make sense. Everyone suffers and has a lot of pain, and amnesia would wipe all that away...but it also wipes all the good things Sonny has: His love, his kids, his friends and family. All that being said, I feel like the writers are going to use this angle to have Sonny forgive Nina.
Carly and Sonny got Michael shot and sentenced to prison rather than probation and/or community service and/or a large fine. Sonny shot Dante and stood over Dante's body bragging about how he was going to watch him bleed out. Sonny murdered Michael's father. All of that was when he was with Carly. He committed other crimes. With Nina, Sonny fights crimes.
Hmmm.... Sonny wasn't with Carly when a bomb killed Lilly, or an explosion killed Kristina, or when he convinced Karen to prostitute herself, and a bunch of other incidents that happened. Your logic is extremely flawed. Trying to put the actions of a man on a woman is antiquated thinking. Step into 2021.
