That was just too weird having Elizabeth treat Austin and not even act like he looks just like Franco! She sort of had this look on her face for about a second, then nothing... Strange!
That is because they are playing new characters and they will pretend that he looks nothing like franco...even though we know..they have never seen this person before...same with finn and kiki....it sucks.

It's a completely new character. When they recast Roger from Todd to Franco...no one said, "wow, you suddenly look like Todd." For whatever reason the producers really want to work with Roger Howarth, so they're doing whatever they can to keep him. It's understandable, because Roger is entertaining but they should have never cast him as Franco in the first place. They probably got rid of Franco because his character was going to be forever problematic. Although he had his fans, a lot of people were disturbed by the fact that they were trying to absolve a serial killer and rapist of his crimes by changing history and claiming it was due to a brain tumor. My guess is that the actor became conflicted about the role, the same way he became conflicted about Todd Manning in the 90s when everyone was romanticizing rape. Also, given the me-too times...I'm sure it became even more of an issue. I'm personally excited about this new character...and Roger should have gotten a clean slate to begin with so he can flex his talents in a more organic way.
How many different characters has the actor who plays Finn had on this show? Isn't he on his third? Personally, I don't like the practice, but I guess I'll get used to it like I have with others.
Michael Easton who plays Finn has had 6 roles on General Hospital. He was Father Michael Morley, Caleb Morley, Stephen Clay, Silas Clay, John McBain, and Hamilton Finn.
Granted Peter might not actually die. I think they're just making it look like that. I personally want to see him pay for his crimes and not just get the easy out of dying.
I thought maybe they were going to kill Peter off since he's become so irredeemable. But I did some googling and the actor supposedly says he's not going anywhere. I suppose there's other directions they can take with him. I kind of wonder if they might turn this into a good twin/bad twin scenario (especially since Peter's mother is a twin) and it turns out Peter has a twin and has been been held captive somewhere while his evil twin wreaks havoc in PC. That could also open a story line about which twin fathered Maxie's baby - especially since identical twins have identical DNA.
And I do like this Brook Lynn, too. I think she's great.
@Uknown...the twin brother angle could be fun. However, I think they can milk this baby switch thing for longer, with Peter stalking Maxie and Valentine growing suspicious of Brook-Lynne and the two women doing everything they can to keep the secret. Brook-Lynne and Maxi have good chemistry and there's a lot of comedic opportunity for them.
My suspects willow and maxie, willow is so desperate to be with michael what if she overheard finn, elizabeth or anna talking about how peter infected chase. and now maxie is that the hospital and desperate times she wants peter out of her life why not get rid of him. elizabeth just happen to find him at the bottom of that stairs
Cameron could be a suspect too the kid was really pissed off when he thought jason killed franco he could still be harboring that hate for peter since he knows he is the one who killed franco. they haven't shown him at the hospital and would the writers go there with him again.
come on gh they should have made the actor who played franco a little different atleast to look more different a goat tee and some glasses or maybe glasses and a mustache or a beard or some dyed hair. and i thaught when elizabeth saw austin she would think it was franco .but she didn't. good acting
The Original Franco was played by James Franco. We got Todd, from One Life to Live when it ended. He took over the Franco role. Soaps do this all the time. Tad Martin from All My Children is now Martin Gray. The weirdest one was Oscar's mom used to play Carly, back in the day. I am happy to see the favorites in different roles. It means they are working and we get to see them in Soap Land.
I've seen Spinelli on other things - possibly Criminal Minds. Maybe CSI. In an episode of Law and Order: SVU, the actor who plays Cyrus played the leader of a cult where he was impregnating little girls and who also killed a bunch of little kids - including his own daughter.
Really? Nobody else is hung up on the ridiculously illogical behaviour of Porsha and Trina? Sirus was out cold... why not both run out the door and get help? why answer the phone? and bring it over to Porsha? WTAF was that??
The whole holding someone at gunpoint and requiring that they operate on you never made sense to me, but these soaps do it all the time. The only way this would work is if Cyrus had one of his men holding up the gun and overseeing the surgery. Otherwise, there's like a million different ways Porsha and Trina could have left. Hippocratic oath or not, I think most doctors would be willing to kill someone who is threatening the life of their children.
I literally said run, stupid when Cyrus passed out. Porsha had already warned Cyrus that he would probably pass out from the pain so that was the obvious opportunity they should have been waiting for.
I hope Peter August dies and that Cyrus doesn’t leave town because them two already causes enough problems to the show and Brook-Lynn better have a good heart and give Maxie her daughter back if Peter dies or go to prison because Maxie loves that beautiful baby of hers when she first held baby Louise and she broke down when she gave her to Brook-Lynn
