ReplyDeleteOh Laura, you have become such a sap. First Esme & now Cyrus. Sonny has always been Sonny but sure made the show more interesting than Laura is. I'd take Sonnys way of protecting his family rather than Cyrus's. He's telling her exactly what he did to Sonny so he can turn it into her feeling sorry for Cyrus & its working.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. As if she and Anna have the right to judge anyone! Sonny has been a wonderful friend to both of them and they need to get over themselves. I also don't understand how Sonny does not realize but he feels different without his medication. I am bipolar and I would most certainly know the difference in how I felt. Laura is willing to ignore what Cyrus has done but wants to persecute Sonny? Ridiculous double standard.

Deletein my opinion....sonny needs to be brought to justice....sonny gets away with too much dirt and it is about time the writers start making him pay for his crimes....sonny is a violent man and started off as a bad man when he came onto the show making karen strip and take drugs..how could anyone with good sense defend a man like sonny....also he treats all of his women like dirt....ran poor brenda crazy....has babies with multiple women....sonny is a true thug....sonny is the type of person who can do no wrong in his own mind....but once someone crosses him....he is done with them....i hope that the writers keep carly and nina away from him....let carly have something with jagger and nina can move on to drew.....ava and sonny are two dangerous people who deserve each other....i cannot stand either one of them....i hope the actor playing sonny retires soon...so this show can be finished with that vile character....sonny makes this show boring and brings it down....
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely with you there, Sonny has been a conflicted character for years, but these last few he's changed into someone even worse if possible. Expects the world from everyone, but gives no grace to anyone, especially those who have sacrificed so much for him. I'm just over his lack of loyalty and gratitude while demanding the same from others. I think he and Ava are a great match right now!
DeleteWell, we already know Sonny has a get out of jail free card, if he is arrested and convicted. His meds have been tampered with. I don't mind Sonny being held accountable for his crimes, but the way they are writing Anna and Laura to act like they never knew a crime boss could do the things Sonny has done, instead of being a good little boy scout is unbelievable to me. Heck Carly should be wondering if Sonny is off his meds. I am sure Sonny will end up being the hero, when he has to save people from Valentin and Pikeman.

DeleteI have never been one to glorify the crime aspect of GH but I have problems with how the now 'Anti Sonny' characters who were formally on good terms with Sonny are being written as if they were totally clueless about what Sonny being a mob boss means. Come on, Anna was WSB and Laura spent years on the run because of Luke's mob connections.
DeleteI also found it annoying that when Laura was talking about her connection to Sonny, she kept focusing on Luke's blues club. Hello, she and Sonny share family. Grandson/Nephew Spencer. They share a grandson, Rocco. Their kids were married.
After listening to Laura and Anna's conversation about having blinders on where Sonny was concerned, I cannot wait to see the looks on their faces when the truth about Valentin comes out (Anna's ex and Charlotte's father).
Yeah, those two can give the "I thought he was a good mob boss" act a rest, come on now! Be real, think about where all those bazillions he's given to the hospital came from. Goodness, he was just helping smuggle weapons of mass destruction through his docks, for crying out loud, he's a bad guy. For money. Can't wait to see how Valentin ties in to all of this...I want an evil Cassadine back on the show!!!

My question is WHERE are they going to live??? His apartment is too small and her mansion is too big AND crowded.
Finn and Akexis' friendship is cool and bonding over their desire to beat addiction is realistic.
The thing with Alexis is that it is very obvious that she IS going to get her law license back... so speed it up already.
Normally, I enjoy Laura's heartfelt talks BUT I cannot overlook how on one hand she wants "justice" and is advocating for Sonny to get Locked up... MEANWHILE she is advocating for Heather to go "free"

Elizabeth is very underutilized in terms of interesting storylines.... I'm looking forward to her boys graduating from High School so that she can be front burner again.
Chase and Finn are charming... just like their Dad. I've noticed that different characters are coming to Gregory for sage advice. Will these be flashback scenes? I don't want them to let Gregory go! As a matter of fact WHERE is his ex-wife Jackie??? She would be the perfect candidate to fill Alexis' position at the Invader.

Love Alexis and Finn's healthy girl-boy friendship now, more of that (like hopefully Carly and Jason, lol)! The worst thing the writers did was make it all awkward for a while when they slept together. Just let these friends be friends!!! They should bring Curtis back into that mix, I remember the three of them talking after meetings and they were always some of my favorite, most authentic and vulnerable scenes. Make me like Curtis again, lol! He could really use it after everything he's been through this past year...

what did alexis do that was so egregious that the judical board cannot give the woman her license back, so she was with neil a therapist who was treating alexis at the time and she lied about it big deal other have done worse and still maintain their jobs, britt and liesel did some nasty thing medical privileges liesel never lost her job and britt was co chief of staff
scotty does some very unethical things as a lawyer the dude still gets to practice law its like that board intentionally punished alexis
where is jackie gregory is dying but no jackie did they get divorce cannot remember
