Deletevery good show today....my heart broke for carly....and i usually do not like her....i like nina but she needs to just leave them all alone right now...she still has valentin and sasha....sonny needs to be arrested but cyrus needs to also stop provoking sonny...sonnys son looks just like him and is giving a good crazy performance....glad willow called michael out...i am tired of his shit...this show made me cry for bobbie....jaclyn zeman
ReplyDeleteGonna miss Bobbie, she was such a great character for such a long time. Sigh. Carly is really nailing these scenes, I'm glad they're doing right by Bobbie with great performances and letting us see her soap family really grieve. And giving us closure with a backstory that isn't over the top, just genuine. The other legacy characters too, like Laura, Scott, and them, they all have such a colorful history with Bobbie and it was nice to see those flashbacks.
DeleteMichael was definitely due for this, his comeuppance is definitely coming, Willow wasn't having any of his excuses! Nina would do best to spend time with Sasha and Valentin, especially Sasha, the forgiveness that Sasha earned from Nina is a lesson for Nina to learn from now.
but to all the nina haters on here...nina is still my girl...she will come up a winner in the end....

Yeah, Michael will have no one to blame for this but himself. Again, just telling the truth would have accomplished his end-goal anyways, none of it made sense...looking forward to the talk he's going to have to have with Carly about it. That's going to hurt her too, poor Carly, we've had our ups and downs but I'm feeling for her right now. Betrayal from her son coming down the pipeline on top of everything else...she'll forgive him though, she loves that boy.

Great performances by Laura Wright as Carly lately. She saw right through everything Nina was saying. Drew cut right to the chase too. Nina really needs to take a beat and give all these people some room to process. I'm kind of glad this replacement Joss is doing this storyline with Bobby, that would have been a tough one for the other Joss to stomach right now, I hope that actress is doing OK, she's so talented.
What, does Cyrus have a death wish? What was the point / upside of that confrontation for him? Is he willing to go so far to turn Laura against Sonny and win her favor? It was funny that Portia had to treat him, are there really no other doctors working on New Years??? She has to be the one to treat the guy who terrorized her and her daughter, held them at gunpoint? And I forgot Sonny had been sober. Now I can't remember the reason he quit drinking, does anyone else know?

Sometimes I don't remember too well, but the way I recall, Sonny stopped drinking because of his bipolar disease.

The chemistry she has with Laura Wright as Carly is pretty stellar. They are amazing together, I like them each the best on the show when they are having mother-daughter moments. :)

Glad Steve Burton will be returning, not so much Jason Morgan. IMO the Jason Morgan story should just be over. I know it is unlikely they would allow him to create a new character so I hope they will at least give him another personality shift. I'd watch a bitter and resentful man anxious for revenge. Knowing his history , his good friends Sonny and Carly and his brother Drew should have searched till they found a body. Instead everyone just went on with their lives. Jason stepped aside from Carly for Sonny and Sonny turns around and chooses the woman who hid the fact he was alive. Carly and his twin are together. That's a lot to unpack. Maybe Jason could put Sonny and Drew out of business,😁

I'm underwhelmed about the news of Steve Burton coming back. I hated the mob stuff but actually liked his friendship with Carly (not so much when they went there with their wedding night). And how he helped Britt.
Now Jason and Britt were FIRE!!!! :) What a great couple. So much potential was ruined by him "needing" to marry Carly instead. I remember hating that writing, Carly was being such a bada** mob boss on her own, and Jason & Britt were just bringing out the best in each other, they should not have broken that up trying to make Carly look helpless. Bad story for everyone. He is a talented actor, let him show some range, maybe by being a Quartermaine again, and finding a new love interest, let's not replay his old relationships... And Dex was downright cute with Adam, he could adopt that kid, lol!
