ReplyDeleteOh man what a cliffhanger, hope Spencer jumped 🤞🏼 hope they don’t play him dying and drag it out I hate when gh does that and keeps us wondering , wsb dumb , bombing the island might stop pathogen but not the weather thing , they know Mikos past so they should have been prepared before doing what they think would be easiest ,all those on the island are heroes , hope they make it back in time to save Willow ! Nina agreeing with Willow is a lie , she just saying yes cuz she thinks she’s not going to make it ! My god what will open up this lady’s eyes !

Deletehave a question about this bone marrow treatment, yes lisel can donate becasue she is a match but isnt there a possibility the bone marrow will not take, that willow body may reject the bone marrow, like an organ transplant the receipant has a 50 50 chance of the treatment being successful, people acting like once they harvest lisel magically bone marrow willow be immediately cured

what is anna doing she has a medical condition some blood disorder and a gun shot wound now she might be infected with a deadly virus how is this going to play out
so nina is always these men second choices when valentin was with nina he always wanted anna, now nina with sonny yet sonny would have never been with her had carly shown up on that boat even now he is with nina it is clear he still wants carly, not that sonny and carly should be a couple again that should never happen again

DeleteGeneral Fanatic to answer your question about the transplant, yes, there is a chance her body could reject it. I donated my own to myself and it still could have rejected. I was in hospital on watch for 17 days before being sent home. They give you heavy chemo before reentering the transplant which kills the cells and starts your body’s immune system at day one again, you are born again. Your immune system after the transplant is not only subject to rejection but also in danger of getting contaminated by any germs. If it does not go up each day you are in the hospital you could die. That’s why you are kept in the hospital for such a long period of time.
DeleteAnother problem with this show is that it could take days for the donor to harvest enough stem cells that you might need. It took me 3 days, 4 hours each day for them to get enough. They give you nuepogen shots to stimulate stem cells from the bone marrow to move to the top of your blood. Worse part was that process with being hooked up to the machine, similar to dialysis. Leisle can’t just go in and donate enough in a day, it takes 2 may be 3 days. This show makes it so unrealistic and an easy process. At least her chances will be better than mine, since she has a donor with clean stem cells. Since they used my own, the collector had to clean mine up to give them back into my system.

Deleteknow this is a tv show not expecting realism we have anna who was shot have major surgery went off to greenland to take out victor, we had ava get stabbed bleed out and was walking around by the following week so not expecting them to show months of willow in recovery but i dont want them to just transplant lisel bone marrow into willow and miracles of miracles she is cured no more cancer
I was able to do an autologist transplant. I am still here and that was back in 2010. I still had to do chemo later to keep my protein marker down and so far I’m not doing any chemo now and will never be rid of cancer but I consider it in remission since I will never get rid of it, just get my bloodwork done every 3 months.
DeleteAutologous transplant is donating stem cells to yourself, not every cancer patient can do this. I have multiple myeloma. While at the hospital, 1 patient with lyphoma was very sick after her transplant and another man died that had lukemia.
