ReplyDeleteWow... lol... I'm starting to feel bad for the actress who plays Nina. It's like the writers are purposely making her over-the-top stupid. Was she like this before? I honestly haven't followed much of her storyline because when she was first introduced, I think I was on one of my famous GH hiatus.I know she lost her mind some years back but she was treated for that. She didn't seem this ridiculous when she was with Valentine. I actually felt bad for her while Valentine was lying to her. I didn't like how she treated Willow and I thought she spoiled Charlotte, but outside from that she seemed like a much more reasonable character than what she's become.
ReplyDeleteOh... okay... I see what's happening. They're writing another mental breakdown for Nina... I was hoping for Stockholm Syndrome for Sonny, but the writers want to create an "out" for Nina... so she can another free get-out-of-jail card. You can tell with how Ava was looking at her... "like,girl you gone crazy."
For a second there, I was a little worried about the Molly replacement...but by the end I was really buying her as Molly. The two replacements also seem to have good chemistry with Alexis and Sam. They seemed like family.
I'm not gonna lie, I always prefer when Sonny and Carly get along because I think the actors have good chemistry. That being said, it's a bit annoying how it seems like Sonny is getting this free pass without truly earning it.
I'm really mad at Anna for dropping the ball on girlfriend duties. She needed to set Jordan straight and tell her to stop waiting around for Curtis. I know Curtis is also Anna's friend, but he did Jordan wrong and Anna needed to remind Jordan of that.
When Nina was introduced with Michelle Stafford, I loved to hate her, then I just loved her. She was crazy, funny, occasionally evil, unpredictable, had a great rapport with Franco, just a wild and interesting character. She was pretty outrageous at first, but through a long character arc she did eventually mellow into just a total boss lady and style icon. I think I just really liked the original actress, have never been on board with this recast. If she was going back to Michelle Stafford's version of crazy, I'd be fine with it, lol. That was something else!

DeleteAgree with both of you ... Michelle Stafford could be crazy and do awful things (like kidnap Ava to steal her unborn baby) and somehow still end up likable, watchable and enjoyable. She had incredible charisma and warmth. And she owned the character of Nina in an unforgettable way.
DeleteAny replacement was going to be a disappointment, but this actress just cannot manage to pull off the likability factor. She lacks genuine warmth, so even when she's being nice it seems fake and manipulative. The lack of warmth also makes everything she does come across as selfish and calculated. She repels a lot of viewers instead of drawing them into her schemes on an emotional level.
If Michelle Stafford were doing this stuff, we'd feel empathy for her and go along on the wild ride. She was fun to spend time with as a viewer.
There is nothing fun about NuNina. She is just plain tedious and unpleasant to watch.

DeleteYeah, Sonny really messed up. That was the love and loyalty he needs. Hope Carly has closed the door for good. They have a great dynamic as a couple, but that ship has sailed.

ReplyDeleteI like the new Christina, but not the new Molly. The endometriosis stuff is so boring, it is a super common condition that is not life-threatening, I don’t know why they’re making such a giant deal about it, most people with endometriosis can get pregnant without any problems.

and worse of all is ava egging this woman on, ava once helped nelle gaslight carly to a mental institution where she was almost labomotized and now ava is helping psycho nelle mother nina do the same thing again to carly by sending her to jail and destory her life

so when nina gets rids of carly by sending her to jail then there is michael whom she also believes is in her way regarding willow, will nina how try to get rid of michael too so she can have willow all to herself, and if carly does not go to jail will nina ultimately want to kill carly to get rid of her permanently can totally see nina wanting to murder carly
ava said avery see and hears everything that kid is in the other room, wish avery heard everything single word ava and nina were saying, then she goes and visit donna and carly and tells her what she heard
ava wants carly to call truce with her and nina be cordial with ava yet any chance ava get to come at carly for whatever reasoning she takes, carly is the one who has reason to dislike ava for messing with son to the point of his death
curtis makes me sick the way he treats jordan, he kissed jordan now he is giving her attitude and the cold shoulder, jordan run away from this man he is no good especially to jordan, he treats portia better than he does jordan and portia lies affected him personally and deeply and of course he takes portia back
this man curtis no one can lie or keep secrets from him but he can keep secrets and lie to everyone, when are the authorties going to come for curtis and his illegal gambling
nina and ava thinks because they are backstabing disloyal bitches that everyone is just like them, when will nina be found out.
