ReplyDeleteSonny was so right. Carly's intention was to punish him just as her intention has been to punish Nina all along. Nina was the reason Michael and Willow got custody of Wiley and Carly responded with lying to Nina by keeping the knowledge that Nelle was her daughter from Nina. Michael and Carly wanted to punish Nina when they both wanted that Tell All Tabloid story was published. Both Michael and Carly thought it was alright to do that. Scott Baldwin responded by reminding everyone of the common knowledge that Michael chose to murder Claudia rather than just stop her and he only got a few months in prison.

DeleteThe story about Esme and Ryan and Felicia is going to be a lot more interesting than the sex tape story. Just move along and get Esme put in that place where Spencer was put. She should only be there for a couple of months since she did not murder anyone like Michael did and he only got a few months. Then Felicia and Esme can start dealing with their issues.

Also ....I want to see the Felicia storyline and I am hoping Kristina will play the role of Felicia and not a new actor or substitute because of her son passing away. They also need to put the actors playing Ryan and Mac back on contract in order to play out this storyline properly. Yes the sex tape storyline needs to end....and gh needs to end the Marshall storyline...it is not interesting...I fast forward through him and Curtis. Give us the Felicia storyline...give us the Trina's real father storyline...let Willow find out Nina is her mother...and I am also interested in the secret Spinilli is keeping. Drop the Ephiphany becoming a doctor storyline and give us more about Phyllis and Jordan. And why put Violet's picture in the opening credits and gh does not include a photo of Gregory...Jordan or Trina in the opening. That makes no sense. No offense but I don't think Violet is so cute and adorable...small children are not needed on these shows. Those are just my opinions.

He's such a great character and it is so nice to have him back on the show. I wish they'd give him a better storyline to be involved in.
I'd also like to see him in a scene with Maxie and their daughter Georgie. Maxie and Spinelli are good friends -- it would make sense for them to do something together with their daughter.
Carly may be lying about Willows mother everone is lying about something but if Nina did get to know nell before she died that would have been good cause Nina may wanted nell dead after nell finish with her

carly is saying everything i scream at my screen, does sonny hear himself the man wants to blame carly and carly only for the reason their marriage ended, the man cheated but its carly fault, carly has to protect his business so she married jason but its carly fault, he is in love with another woman he lies about it gaslights carly but its carly fault, she asks for space to deal with the hurt its carly fault, she walks away so he can have his purest love nina but its carly fault, the children are hurting michael is acting again sonny its carly fault the sun does not raise on sonny life its carly fault.

and what does sonny not get about his children hurting one of your parent cheats choses a woman who hurts you what the child is just to what like sonny ignore the pain she caused. when a man or woman cheats it affects not only the cheater and the cheated but everyone in that family. sonny is purposely choosing to believe the shit in his head that his excuse for being with nina why address what she did to his family it will be too real for him to deal with.

ReplyDeleteI think this Carly is pretty, and she brings a genuine warmth to the character that previous versions lacked. It was much needed too.

DeleteThe actress who played Nina before this latest one had an endearing quirkiness and warmth that dramatically upped her likability factor even when she was doing the craziest stuff (like kidnapping Ava to steal her baby).
The current actress who plays Nina can't generate that same level of likability at all.
So when she is behaving badly, and whining about everything, viewers lack empathy for her. She can't pull it off without losing the audience.
I think Sonny is a good actor and he is believable when he is pursuing her. But viewers have a hard time seeing what the appeal of Nina is.
If GH wants this to work as a storyline, they really need to make Nina more likable, because this actress doesn't have the natural charm of the original Nina. This actress is more suited to playing a harsher villain type, not someone who is self-pitying and sees herself as a victim.

DeleteI think the most likable version of Carly was when she was played by Tamara Brown, she wasn't so focused on revenge and controlling people, she actually experienced a range of emotions love for her children seemed to be her motivation. Omg that scene in pcpd why is no one looking for Michael 😭 still gets me every time. When was the last time they wrote LW as anything but a underhanded lying schemer

ReplyDeleteSonny for once in his life was trying to be honest with Carly about his feelings for Nina but she hated it, couldn't accept it and it drove her nuts and she did punish him which is a bad idea with sonny, alone is not his default setting. Carly has always nagged threatened and attacked Sonny for failing to deal with his mental health, Nina on the other hand knows mental illness is complicated as she has suffered it in her life and gets through to sonny on a level Carly doesn't. I think what Carly misses is vengeful Sonny who'd have killed Nina for hurting his family and I don't care for or want to see that side of sonny it's stale and over done and people change as they get older.
