I guessed Britt could be the new chief of staff in a post I made after the last show. She's kind of popped up randomly now and again, so not surprised to see her coming back.
Oh, for crying out loud. I love the Mike character. And I have really loved Max Gail in that role. But they need to end this "long goodbye" once and for all. We all know he's going to die; just get it over with and stop extending the tragedy of it all. Unless they're planning some "miracle" or something, someone, please, pull the plug.
He came on this show to play this role, and part of that is saying goodbye. He has been a character on this show off and on for 20 years or so, he deserves all the screen time and all the goodbyes and all the tears even that he can get.
Also, Mike dying is important for a lot of characters in regards to *their* character development. They all deserve their chance to say goodbye and try to work through whatever their feelings are. He is leaving but they are staying and this is important for their character development as well as important for the actors to get their chance to portray that aspect of them. It's also important for some of the fans, the ones who care about and connect with this story. Because for fans who have lost people, the story may very much be about JOS and how she deals with her loss, or Sonny or how Carly deals and helps her husband. That's what these kinds of shows are about... not just "will he die or won't he." but the things we go through in life. Their is somebody right now who is identifying with Joss, Sonny, Carly, Michael, etc... and watching how this plays out for them is important to that fan. It's not JUST about Mike... it's about his whole family who is losing them. Each one in their own way as well as, as a family unit. This storyline is going to be very important to some people (obviously not you) and might help them through a difficult time or help them process something from their past. So they need to take every chance and do it justice, not just say "Oh well he's dying so let's not give the fans or the other characters any type of closure, let alone any material to sink their teeth into." So for a lot of reasons, they are right on track.
What a touching time with Jos and a Mike...loved those scenes!! Britt as chief of staff?!? What the what?!?! Wasn't she fired for being such a dimwit previously? I guess with Renaue in charge anything is possible I suppose. Seems like he's trying to destroy the hospital from within but to what end I wonder. Does he want to control all the docs with script writing abilities to move his drugs?
I still can't get these last few days to open for me to watch, tried refreshing the page, tried logging into daily motion. Not sure why this is happening but used to be able to watch every single episode
Are you on a phone or laptop/desktop? I don't know about phones, but I know on my laptop, I have to clear my cache' every once in awhile. Just throwing that out as a possibility.
I agree they need to let Mike pass, but dang so sad. Not with Britt back what a mess she is going to make. So many bit and pieces of this show so many places now they can take us. And Ava and Nicolas kissing others, dang I just want Nicolas out of that stupid agreement. Oh well Monday another day in the life of GH, thanks Box once again for your post.

These flashback scenes are unrealistic but nice. They don't make sense because it's like they were a few weeks ago or something and he was in turning woods before the break.
Also... it it... May/June right now in GH time? I'm confused with this talk about graduation... but homecoming is usually in the fall.
