I disagree... this was a great episode that shed some light on stuff. The only "repeat or old" episode they showed was of Jason blowing up that building....otherwise the actress playing Jocyln that is now portraying Carly and the actress playing Nina as Virgina and so on.... that was good acting and not "OLD EPISODES". They are filming new stuff they are just giving back stories!!!!
so the woman the actress who plays Nina is playing in this flashback is Virginia Benson, haven't been watching since the inception of the show so had to go read up Carly's past.
Found out that Carly is her mother's Bobbie daughter in the sense they don't back down when they want something and some of their storylines are kinda similar. Bobbie hated Laura at one point because of Scott whom she loved, Carly hates another who messes with her boys and her the love of her life Sonny, Both married a mobster though there was once Bobbie had a problem with Carly being with Sonny when she did the same.
Also Carly is nothing like Nelle, Nelle is a crazy murdering psychopath whose motives are all about herself. Carly has done things which she has acknowledge repeated and even try to make amends. Nelle blames everyone for her insane shit and expect everyone to forgive her never apologizing for it and repeating the same things over and over and over and over.
they can put a habit on nelle and call her mother Theresa I will always see that woman as a dangerous predator who will bring misery to Wiley.
Thank you for posting! But... lol wow. flashback overload. I super hope the rest of the episodes won't be butchered like this one was. I get why they want to spread out what they have filmed already but 90% of the show being flashbacks is way too much >.<
I actually don't think these flashbacks have anything to do with the coronavirus. If they did, there wouldn't be any flashbacks of Carly (Joss) and her adoptive mother (Nina). I think this episode with the Nelle flashbacks was planned before they knew they were going to have to stop filming. That's not to say there won't be flashbacks later that ARE related; I just don't think this episode is one of them.
Then explain the scenes between young Carly and her adoptive mother. Why would they be there if this wasn't a planned flashback episode? Because of those scenes, it seems more likely to me they had decided to do a flashback episode to catch everyone up on what brought Nelle to Port Charles in the first place BEFORE they knew they were going to have to shut down production.
Thank you for streaming this. But damn, it's pretty unwatchable the way they just fill it all with flashbacks. It's like there's no point in watching it until all of this is over. I can catch up in two shows when this is over. Of course keep streaming it cuz this is the only way I watch it. But I'm probably going to take a break, they really are doing a s*** editing job
despite the flashbacks I rather enjoyed the show since i had not seen some of these episodes concerning nelle...i stopped watching for almost two years after the show really really became sonny crazy...nelle and carly are just alike and i am glad someone reminded carly about what she did to aj and tony..nelle is stupid if carly were her sister than michael would be her nephew and that is pure incest...nelle get a grip you would not have sex with your nephew
If the fact is true that Nelle and Carly are "sisters" which I dought they are, then yes it would be incest. OMG I can't believe that Michael had a baby with his Aunt if it's true.
You're right because Nelle is Nina's daughter. Just watch because on the preview for the next episode will show that Nelle has the other half of the heart in her box of her childhood belongings.
Actually, I checked on that. She got sick back in March but couldn't get tested due to lack of tests, so it was never confirmed that she had it for sure. The most recent thing I found was an article dated March 26 where she said she was much better.
They need to postpone any new shows instead of just showing past scenes 90 percent of the time.

When Virginia Benson was on this show many years ago she sure looked and acted different than the one we had today
