Can't wait for this guy to be out of here--I get it GH, Adam had a terrible upbringing, now I can view him in a new light, lol... And man, if I was Carly I'd be proud. Josselyn has been through some THINGS in life, but she is turning into a top-notch young lady with a bright future as a doctor ahead of her. She has a bit of Carly's youthful fire to her too, it's a great combination. :) This fill-in for Joss has done a wonderful job, credit where it's due since I tend to give replacements a hard time, lol. Glad to see Eden coming back, but we so appreciate your service young lady! :)
ReplyDeleteDang, they are giving Drew some edge. I'm kind of liking seeing some fire from him now, just want him to be more controlled and strategic with it like he was today. It does make sense that he's mad at the world, the man has been through some THINGS too... But now I'm starting to see the Quartermaine in him, and an identity separate from being a Jason stand-in. Just in time for Jason to come back?!?!? Looking forward to seeing where that goes! Play this right, and Drew could be a real player in the show.
It's OK Laura, no one from Port Charles ever really dies. :) Least of all a Cassadine, hahaha...to this day I'm not convinced Helena is really gone. Laura had me in the feels talking about Spencer though, they always had such a special relationship. Going back to the old actor, who got a bad rap for being spoiled but I always loved that crazy entitled creative kid, he was cute back then too. LOL, he's the reason she's mayor, what a good bad little kid he was!!! Laura has been through some THINGS too, I'm surprised she's holding it together, whatwith Luke, Bobbie, Lulu, Lucky, Nikolas, Kevin just getting bludgeoned, now Spencer, it's a miracle she's coherent at all. She's going to need to leave Jordan in charge of everything again, lol!
Bwahahahahahahaha!!! I love Tracy so much, always have, even when she's being ruthless, can't help it, that is a perfectly developed character with nuance. Every soap actor should take note. Line of the episode to her: "Nail polish remover, silent killer." Love her back and forth with Lois, the best new relationship (or newly reintroduced) the show's had in a long time. Tracy was the star of the show today, everything she did was great. So glad she's back. So glad Lois has returned with some fun and fire too!

I friggen Lovvve Spencer. And Esme. I know I’ve said this a dozen times befor but I really enjoy his scenes. Specially when he has to get all hot headed & passionate & raises his voice I know he’s pretty young but it’s so attractive, he makes me fall in love with his character and really believe his acting every time.
Loved little entitled Spencer actor too, he was such a cute little dork ☺️

To be honest though, I’m really not enjoying Lois scenes. I find the dramatics she brings a bit too over the top to be believable. Shes just annoying. Specially the way she wouldn’t give up pushing to know all the details of what Olivia had going on. Like sit back a bit, your girl will tell you or talk about it when it’s time to talk about, you’re just really annoying now.
Is this the same Lois actress as when she was previously on the show ?
I’ve never met brooklyns Mom befor… I didn’t ever even know who her mom was. Other than when they talked about her mom. I’ve been watching GH since when Ava & Jason were locked up together. When he was in that mask and all drugged up.

YeeeYeeee it’s gonna stir up so much drama. What are all the gals gonna do ?!?? Carly, Sam, who’s with Dante now 🤢 can’t stand those two together. They have way better scenes when there not acting together. I really like Dante with other actors. They just don’t click for me.

It is the very same Lois from back in the day, I don't mind her because she just livens up the screen, in small doses I can take it, lol, kind of like Fran Drescher as the nanny, but don't have to listen to it the whole episode! :)
DeleteI've been watching the show for almost 40 years (ever since I can remember, really), lol, so I have a lot of history with the older characters. ;) I grew up right along with Robin (my Mom was a HUGE GH fan), to give you an idea. To this day, seeing Robin and Emma on the show in occasional cameos is my favorite.
This Spencer is wonderful too, I never thought I'd forgive them the recast of the original, but once he got the hang of it, I could see him growing into a notorious but conflicted Cassadine, and I love it. :) Can't wait to have him back.
Same with Jason, though I do hope they bring him back as a QUARTERMAINE!!! Again, my old viewer bias, I can remember when Jason wanted to be a doctor, before the accident that turned him into Sonny's henchman. I hope he throws a wrench in Dante & Sam's relationship too, I also like especially Dante a lot better any time he has screen time with anyone else, lol...
I’ve also been watching GH since the 90s, I did take a couple of breaks for a few years, but been watching again regularly for the last 15 years at least again. It’s the same Lois! Super beautiful but she’s always been annoying, she might actually be less annoying now than she used to be in the 90s! This was a very enjoyable episode, though really sad! Tracy is amazing! I just read that they’re bringing Jagger character back but a different actor!

DeleteLOL, the good old PCPD, never ceases to amaze with their incompetence and over-reach! :) They are the VERY long arm of the law... And I totally believe Helena's Cassadine curse on Luke and Laura (and their families, look at Bobby too) is in full effect! I adore Gregory with both Alexis and Tracy, which is funny, since those two women HATE each other, ha! If that handsome Chase man wasn't dying, THAT would be a love triangle for the ages.
