I'm confused... can judges actually do what this one just did or is it another one of those only-on-soaps drama? The whole thing sounded ridiculous to me, but then again, I've never studied law...

so let me get this straight drew gets 3 years for a nothing crime, intent wasnt even a thing they were not trying to commit a crime or trying to intentional hurt anyone, carly thought her investment was helping drew and micheal told carly not to invest, carly, aroura and other investor lost big, a lost that michael once told ned that they recoup after the non merger. ned valentin fighting the merger had malicious intent but whatever, then you have people like elizabeth who admitted that she held a pregnant woman hostage and got a slap on the wrist and there are others who have done far more damaging things but drew get a harsh sentence port charles you never disappoint in its very unbalanced way of dispensing justice
