ReplyDeleteI have to say, as angry as Sonny can make me... he has these moments that really makes my heart melt. Maurice who is an emotional man in real life, has a way of bringing that into his acting in the most nuanced ways.
Of course Nina was just standing outside listening, LOL. This woman doesn't seem to understand that her lack of boundaries is what's caused so much hate toward her.
The one thing I'll say is that I'm glad that the writers are finally realizing that strong women don't have to be enemies. My problem with Nina has always stemmed from the fact that she didn't earn this sudden bout of forgiveness that everyone wants to throw at her, while punishing Carly for being justifiably pissed. However, Ava is a different story. Ava has paid for her crimes in the worst ways possible, and while she's not saintly... I admire the fact that Carly and Ava can be civil to each other and have an honest conversation.
Okay... of course Trina was gonna get caught. Curtis told her to leave the phone behind so the guards wouldn't notice it missing....so she took the walkie instead? How does that make sense? Of course they're keeping track of all that stuff... a man like Victor is incredibly paranoid and will make sure his men take inventory of everything. And even if that wasn't an issue, homegirl was walking in and out of rooms like it was her home. Clandestine is not her thing.

Carly has always held onto grudges and anger and it rarely ends well for her I hope they are growing the character to be wiser in her old age. You know when Ava is the voice of forgiveness and compassion that maybe your being a shrew. Willows death isn't about Carly or her hurt feelings not matter how hard she clings to them.
