It calls to mind the phrase: A good friend will help you move, but a great friend will help you move a body.
Of course, the lies they are telling to Finn and Ava are dumb -- that's just plain stupid writing. After all, Finn already helped Elizabeth hide a body! (HELLO, writers, pay attention to the history of the characters!)
And Ava already knew about the sex, so why this is a secret too big to tell her makes no sense. Plus she has been a victim of Esme's evil. As others have pointed out, Ava would've been an ally here.

ReplyDeleteHas anybody else seen that the actor who plays Nikolas is leaving the show? I just caught a little bit of an article about it (they wouldn't let me read the whole thing unless I subscribed) so I don't know if it's the actor who is leaving and will be replaced or if the character is leaving. I guess I'll have to do a little googling.
ReplyDeleteSo the only thing I'm finding so far is that it must have come as a surprise to the actor because he refused to film his last scheduled scenes when he found out he had been fired. So, obviously some hard feelings there . I couldn't find anything about a recast yet.
DeleteA firing? Wow. He's been on the show a while now. I honestly never felt he ever reached the level of Tyler Christopher, but I got used to him. I'm curious about a recast now too--whoever they bring in, I hope they change the character to be more formidable, less of a self-defeating punchline. Did you see about Sonya Eddy? That broke my heart this morning. :(

DeleteAccording to TMZ, Eddy developed an “uncontainable” infection following a routine surgery on Dec. 9. She was readmitted to the hospital several days later and eventually was placed on life support. She died Monday night.
Eddy — who was a licensed vocational nurse in real-life — made her debut as GH‘s no-nonsense, big-hearted nurse in 2006.
I think she had a lot of accomplishments in her real life we never knew about. And that's scary about the surgery and infection and should be scary for all of us. My son's employer went in for a routine back surgery and never left the hospital alive because of an infection that wasn't discovered until the day he was scheduled to be discharged. I myself have been under the knife a number of times - luckily without incident. But it's still scary.
