Jeff webber elizabeth parents before my time are they capable of tormenting their daughter like that would they do something like that.
I'd love to hear more from other long-time watchers, but to my knowledge, Elizabeth's parents were just never in the picture. She moved to Port Charles as a teenager with her sister, Sarah, to live with their grandmother, Audrey. Sarah was the golden child, and Elizabeth always felt jealous and left out. Even after terrible things happened to her as a young teen in Port Charles, her parents were MIA, to my recollection. She became great friends with Lucky, Nicholas, and Emily, and they were the ones who helped her through troubling times. I can't remember anything besides her feeling abandoned by her parents (the show always wrote them as admirable people, Doctors without Borders types, always serving overseas). If anyone else knows more, I would also love to hear it! I just can't remember.
DeleteSpencer does know it wasn't Trina--wish he had the gumption to take Esme to task, even if he doesn't go public with what he knows to protect himself. And I think the Cassadines in general have been threatening people and their families into loyalty for years. It doesn't come from love (unless it's love of money), that's for sure :)

DeleteOh man, I didn't think Sarah Webber was dead, I thought she just followed her parent's path after breaking up with Lucky / Nicholas (they all dated around quite a bit in the old days :) ) and was written off as helping as a doctor in other countries, like her parents! If anyone knows for sure if / how she passed, I'd love to know, I just can't for the life of me remember. She'd only be a bit older than Elizabeth.

DeleteDr. Sara Webber left town in 2002. She is off screen ... not dead. Sara has been mentioned from time to time. Elizabeth has visited with her at least one timethat I remember.

Why does GH keep pushing this Nina and Sonny storyline? Nina wants "Mike". Yes, there is of course part of "Mike" in Sonny, but at the end of the day, Sonny will win out. Nina is not built for the mob life. Eventually the mob business drama will start picking up, people's lives will be in danger, she will not be able to handle that. She is already whining about wanting Mike in the preview for the next episode. I would rather the writers go in a completely different direction and have Sonny and Selina Wu get together. I would love to know more about her character.

DeleteWow, loved Portia with Trina today. Competing with Carly/Joss for best mother/daughter scenes now, in my opinion. Even though they have potential as a couple, honestly Spencer makes Trina a worse version of herself, takes away her confidence, independence, and boldness. Her Mom told her like it was. Spencer has to accept the reality of the Esme situation and save himself, that's not Trina's job. Scenes with the kids are making me like all the moms a bit more. Here's to great mother-daughter moments on GH! And can't wait to see what Victor has in store--hope it's another cosmically great Cassadine scheme! Been waiting a long time for that. Make the Cassadines formidable again.

DeleteI haven't gotten to see GH today, 'cause one says 'playback error' and the other 2 have been removed. When this happens, Bob always fixes this, bless his heart! I did read all the comments, and I don't recall ever having seen Elizabeth's mother, but her dad was once married to Monica Quartermain, even though Monica was in love with Jeff's brother, Rick Weber. I don't remember Jeff ever having much to do with Elizabeth. Jeff and Elizabeth's mother were not good parents, in my opinion. I remember Sarah, but I don't remember what happened to her. She was not a good sister to Elizabeth.

DeleteThe reason no one ever sees Jeff is he went on to play McGiver. It would be great if they brought him back. I don't ever remember him being recast. Maybe Richard Dean Anderson is coming back. Jeff Weber was also married to Heather Weber (Thus, her name). They had a kid together named Steven Lars, who was being raised by Peter and Diana Taylor. I think he ended up dying years later. This was all back around 1978-9. Heather Weber went off the deep end when she found out that the Taylors had Steven Lars. Peter Taylor died and Heather tormented Diana. Jeff left Heather because she was a lunatic. The best lunatic EVER. They should both come back. LOL I have no idea who Jeff Weber's wife or Elizabeth's mom, is. I don't ever remember seeing her. Just talked about.

Elizabeth is just nuts. Likely she is sabotaging herself. She does it anyway with every relationship she brings home to her kids. How many have there been? Good mom's don't bring home every tom, dick and harry, to live with her and her children. Elizabeth is nuts. LOL

I remember most of this, becauses Peter Taylor died the same day, my father died and the same way. Hard to forget those characters :(
