  1. Was it really necessary to insert Sonny and Jason? I can understand Carly going to thank Sam since Lulu is her cousin, even though I can't stand her. Sonny could've stopped by to check on Dante and Rocco, but he didn't have to be in that private moment with Sam's family. I'm sure Jason will be praised as father of the year for spending two seconds with Danny at the hospital, when he's probably just there for Carly, and he'll immediately just run off to play superhero and leave Danny to grieve. They better not make Sam's death all about Sonny, Carly, and Jason. The focus should be on her kids, her mom, her brother, her sisters (yes, they were annoying but they and Sam have been constant in each other's lives. Jason hasn't been constant), Spinelli and Maxie, and a bit of Dante and Rocco.

What I loved though was Alexis with Danny and Scout and bringing them to the hospital. She should get custody in Sam's absence since their fathers won't put them first. Yes, she drank while babysitting Danny years ago but that was only for a season. She got help for it and she's been a constant in those children's lives since they were born (minus when Danny was with Tea, but that wasn't Alexis' fault). The only other person besides Krissy and Molly (who are too immature right now to be anyone's guardian) who has been a constant in their lives is Monica. But she's a lot older and she's offscreen. So, my vote is they go with Alexis. But I imagine they'll go to the Quartermaines since all the kids seem to end up their at some point even kids who aren't related lol (like Violet and Ace).

And I absolutely love that Alexis held Sam's hand as she was being wheeled away. I'm assuming she'll die in surgery the way the scenes went today, so the last person she touched (besides doctors and nurses) was her mom <3 Long live Samlexis, I will miss them so much <3 <3 <3

    1. Agree very touching ending for Sam. Now the pain for the kids will surface unfortunately.

    3. Both Danny and Scout's fathers are alive and in town. Sam's death would have Danny living with Jason (probably at the penthouse that used to be Jason's) and Scout living with Drew. Not putting your kids first has never been a reason in soaps for a parent to not have custody. Sonny has custody of Avery (although sadly Ava is even worse). Carly kept her kids even when she kept going back to Sonny even after Michael ended up in a coma.

    4. It was weird to me that Sonny was there, but Kristina and Molly weren't. Felt off, especially given Sonny and Sam's history, ha...

    5. @My 2 Cents Splitting up Danny and Scout is a horrible idea. Though I do agree that soaps do allow kids to stay with their horrible parents. Poor Danny will be neglected if he lives with Jason. Either that or he'll follow Jason and join the mob. I guess them going to the Qs would be better, but they'd receive more attention from Alexis who will also be grieving Sam, so they could help each other through it.

  3. I hope Brad destroys Portia at some point! And Curtis, seriously. Who does he think he is now. The corruption never stops even in soap land or real life. If Sonny plays with Holly, he's going to get burned. Lucas & Brad are back on the path to each other.

    1. I have always found Portia to be annoying.

The last scene in Africa with Sidwell basically announced that there would be a part 2 in PC. First with Pikeman and now with Holly, Sonny really sucks at picking people to work with.

    2. Yeah, Curtis has apparently only been playing a virtuous guy for years, first his compromise with poker in the club (backroom dealings with Selena Wu), and now this kind of strong-arming. Not hero moves. Guess he and Drew have fallen far off the wagon. :(

    3. And yeah, ooooh boy, if this surgery goes south and it's on Lucas, he is going to end up straight back with Brad...
