I think Sam is being dumb. In real life I would not date a mobster, but if I lived in Port Charles I'd actually find Sonny and/or Jason the safest people to be around. First of all, none of these people are so safe or innocent. Franco has a tumor that can turn him back into a seriel killer and Liz is super comfortable having him around her boys, Alexis has exposed her kids to countless of psychopaths, Christina basically caused all the grief with Shiloa, Nina stole a child, Anna is in denial about her murderous son..and these are all the supposed good people of Port Charles. We don't even need to get into Peter, Julien, Valentine, Britt, Obrecht, Ava and so on. However, with Cyrus in town everyone is in danger regardless of who you are and he's only in town because of the commissioner's past lies. Everyone on this show is willing to lie, steal, cheat and kill for the most minor inconveniences. At least Jason and Sonny have a code that they live by and those two have done more than the police to keep GH safe. Meanwhile, Sam is all worried about Jason and little does she know that her father is the one responsible for a lot of the crap that's going down...so Jason or no Jason, she'd be in the crossfires. These people need to either leave the town of Port Charles or stop being such hypocrites.
yes QueenT, yes to every single word you said. Sam is acting like Jason and Sonny are intentionally putting their family in danger when they go out of their way to protect them. its not their fault their enemies know their weaknesses are their family.
And yeah they are mobster killers whatever they make no apologies for that unlike Valentin and Ava and practically every one on this show acting like they are not characters with shady past who if given the opportunity will revert to their old ways, look how easily it was for Ava to pull a gun on her brother
it sounds like sam wants to completely cut Danny out of Jason's life, look how well that turned out for Jake he has no relationship with Jason and Danny and Jason has bonded has father and son so good luck keeping that kid from his father.

So Carly told her kids that they have a mother who would always keep them safe? I guess she forgot about Morgan and how well that worked out for HIM. And all that Michael went through. And the times Josslyn has been in danger. Whoops....
I am going to say something and most of you women will get mad but it is the truth...most women do not want to see any good looking man playing a gay or bi character...you would rather see a stereotypical queen playing the role....and I am glad the producers do not think like you....just one more comment...women stop being jealous...you don't own men...nuff said
I think this is the first time they've wrote sam as a decent mother in a long while it's one thing when the kids are small to protect them from what people say about jason and what they see but dannys lets say 10 he can read and understand what a hit man does, sonny rarely got his own hands dirty so his kids knew daddy had a lot of money and power and could push people around but jason kills them and just like michael they'll end up kidnapped shot or see a bloody body or a gun and if on that day your best defence for allowing it is but i love daddy you're a selfish weak bitch like carly and failing your children.
