Is it my imagination or did the acting (and the writing) seem so much better in the old days? Watching those flashbacks in that flashback episode makes me think they were. That brief scene between Bobbi amd Felicia when Felicia learns that Maxie received BJ's heart was particularly gut-wrenching.
I know. I still have old ones on some old vhs tapes and yep its very different compared to the last couple of decades for sure. Where are you seeing these? Are they on Fridays episode?
Yeah, this flashback episode had a lot of flashbacks in it. Also, a young Scotty and some others. I would love to see more of these types of clips, or even better, full episodes.
I know a show id like to see,who can forget abt the 1 w Sonny & Brenda on the boat n Puerto Rico,the 1 they used at the beginning scene a few yrs back. They never hv action scenes lk that anymore.
I actually quit watching the show because of Brenda among other things, but then happened to have it on the day Lilly was blown up and got hooked on it again

ReplyDeleteThere is a reason all of us who were watching this show as far back as the late 70s and through the 80s miss so bad how good it was back then!
DeleteAnd even that scene between Anna and a very young Robin seemed so much more substantial than anything I've seen recently.

DeleteI believe you can on youtube. I know a few years ago anyway I was watching tons of full episodes from the early 80s of GH and OLTL
