ReplyDeleteI agree, carly looks too old for Drew and she was smart to realize that Carly is way too obsessed over Jason. Friendship and obsession are two different things. Carly never allowed jason to love anyone but her. That's self love. Jason went along with it because he knew Carly was crazy and would be worst than nina, the difference is, Nina is fighting for her children that she lost and her grandchildren whereas carly would choose jason, even over her own children. so drew was smart.
DeleteCarly totally looks too old for Drew, but Im not crazy over Drew anymore. I didn't like her with Jason in a relationship either, just friends please! Drew with Jordan may work. Nina on the other hand is bat sh*t nuts, always has been. How Ava can say Ninas been such a loyal friend is beyond me, how great a friend was she while she was trying to rip Avery out of her stomach?

ReplyDeletea short time ago they hinted that drew would be with jordan....maybe he will hire her as the new crimson editor....also i used to hate jason....but this new storyline with jason is good....he has his memory and not under any kind of spell which is good....i also like the new jagger....the scenes with him and sonny going at it are great....but things may change since new writers will take over soon....they may throw these storylines out the window....it is a shame the old writers started writing good just before they were fired

DeleteWow, Drew did the smartest thing anyone's ever done in a relationship with Carly, lol. Immediately recognized defeat. Just as I was starting to like them together, Jason instantly tosses the wrench in. Can't fault anyone, Carly and Jason's bond is palpable, I wouldn't want to compete with a "friend" like that either. I do wish they had kept their friendship completely platonic, but Drew's right, any man would always come second to Jason for Carly, and it would take someone unique to accept that. Drew doesn't want to, so cut all the cords and move on. Very Quartermaine of him actually, lol. Didn't know he had that in him. But I saw some sparks between him and Jordan today, oh my, don't know how I feel about that. But something about Jordan lends itself to that, she is fire, for the love of all, GH writers, write her a real love story with someone!!!!!

Drew would have to accept that his brother and Carly would be a very visible presence in his life, from here on out. Him and Jason have never gotten along. So I actually think it's a healthy decision for him, because he has been on edge as of late as it is, and he is just honestly saying this will push his buttons. I don't think it's fair, like I said I was really starting to like them together (and it's a definite NO for me if they're angling for a Carly/Jason reunion), but I understand where he's coming from. He doesn't want to be a third wheel, and doesn't want their relationship to turn toxic. I think he's right that it's a big deal that Carly didn't at least give Drew a head's up after Jason's visit. She went right to Sonny, which is fine, he needed to know too, but Drew should have been top of mind too, and he wasn't. That says something. I definitely think Drew is a much better romantic match for Carly. Reminds me of Carly-Jax sometimes, but she ruined that relationship repeatedly over Sonny & Jason. It's a tough situation. But I understand his impulse to protect himself. :(

ReplyDeleteI didn't know that! She is gorgeous, and she just creates amazing chemistry with ANYONE on-screen, why they do not have her in some kind of relationship is beyond me. It's been YEARS since Curtis. They keep teasing it, but then her potential others disappear. Boo. It's a waste of talent to have a great dramatic actress like that in ONLY the serious role. She's so fun when she's being fun!

DeleteHahahaha, I will miss Drew and Carly too, but it looks like these writers have new plans for each of them. :) Drew would have been much better for Carly than anyone she's seen in a long time. They need to make Celina a regular, she has epic style and I love her power, confidence, intelligence, and sass. I hate how she has to bend to Sonny's will so much, but my real hope is that it has been her all along working to unseat him. That would be great. It was supposed to be a woman!!!! :) Celina coming out on top would really make me like the gangster aspect of this show again. And Michael is a big deal CEO, he does need a better password than that, lol!

ReplyDeleteDrew is a wimp. He's not going to fight for the woman he loves?! He's always trying to find some excuse to walk out on Carly. He's pathetic. Carly deserves better than that weak loser. For crying out loud, your brother is alive and instead of being happy the first thing that pops into your mind is Carly running to Jason. I'm glad they broke up, now he can pack his bags and leave town.
